Summative assessment was administered for Reading with Fun, Entertainment, and Natural Disasters There were 11 students in the class and all were present. The maximum score for the completed work was 24 points
The content of the summative assessment for the 3rd term should be selected on topics “Reading for pleasure” or/and “Entertainment and Media” or/and “Natural Disasters.
Six people managed the assignments with 16-20 points. The rest had papers with low scores of 13-14.

The students who got the maximum score successfully coped with the tasks and had a high level of knowledge assimilation, listened attentively to the teacher and speaker, the students showed good skills of listening to foreign language speech and successfully coped with test tasks based on the text read, answering the questions correctly. The tasks were aimed at independent reading with full understanding of the content of the text.
Activation of the studied vocabulary, development of skills of dialogic and monological speech which promote speaking, which allow to motivate and realize communicative needs of students. Students with increased motivation are able to maintain a conversation, respond appropriately to questions, giving complete specific answers, paying attention to intonation and pronunciation.
The students with an average grade point average cope with the tasks where it was necessary to give a specific answer to the question posed, where it was necessary to choose an answer with explanation, caused difficulties and mistakes. They made mistakes in pronunciation and made sentences with mistakes.
The listening comprehension tasks were successfully completed; listening comprehension and vocabulary training contributed to comprehension of the text. There was insufficient intelligibility of word pronunciation in speaking, language barrier, insufficient vocabulary, as there was no systematic repetition and preparation for lessons that made understanding difficult.
Students who scored low coped with simple assignments, that is, they perform listening assignments following the teacher’s instructions. Answers, as a rule, are brief and characterized by frequent pauses. Attempt some complex grammatical forms, but there may be errors that rarely cause comprehension problems.
Use dictionaries to share and exchange information. Mistakes are frequent and can lead to misunderstandings. Attempts to apply basic sentence forms, but with limited success. Pronunciation may cause some communication difficulties. Does not follow English intonation patterns. Uses a limited range of appropriate vocabulary to suggest their narrow range of knowledge.
