All kinds of food I like to eat –
Fruits, vegetables, fish and meat…
I’m fond of sausages and cheese.
I eat with pleasure soup and porridge,
They help me to enrich my knowledge.
I like all candies, coffee, juice,
And cakes I’m always ready to choose.
I’m sure, all people are fond of food,
And all tasty things make high our mood.
If dinner is ready, I’m here, invite!
I always have such a good appetite.
I like this season, its name is spring.
I have a reason to paint it green.
Green are the trees, green is the grass,
Green are the birches and even buds.
Sometimes I want to paint Spring white,
I think, it also will be all right.
White are the clouds high in the sky,
White is the air, I don’t know why…
I think, it’s clear that spring is red,
Just look at roses on flower – bed,
And tulips here, and poppies near,
Of course, Spring’s red, it’s surely clear!
Take any colour you like the best,
Paint trees, and flowers, and fledglings’ nests,
Forests, and clouds, and every thing.
All that you like not only in spring.
I can’t imagine late December
Without the bunch of mistletoe,
The dark green leaves I always remember
It’s my true friend, for sure I know.
The white small berries look like stars,
I take this wonder and wish desire,
Then hide it at my heart, alas!
And light the candle, and watch the fire.
On Christmas Eve I put the bunch
Into the light and cosy corner,
Its tender leaves, and berries touch,
Each leaf looks like a seashore stone.
Oh, Christmas bunch! I’m so delighted
And at the same time feel excited.
I know: all I wish is real,
And hope: better life is near!
I’m fond of English
I’m fond of English! What’s the reason?
It is the best in any season!
And one more thing I’d like to tell,
That many people can speak it well.
To know this subject – is students’ goal,
Shakespeare’s language warms up my soul.
It helps us make a lot of friends
And visit many different lands.
I think you know it for sure
That foreign tongues make us mature.
I like to share my time with it –
To learn new words, speak, write and read.
Christmas is near
So Christmas is near,
Its steps we can hear.
The feeling of feast is in each tiny thing:
In beautiful snowflakes,
In snowy fresh tracks,
In sound of the bells that so joyfully ring.
We soon will be ready to meet happy Christmas
With holly, and ivy, and wonderful gifts.
He’ll come and present us
With basket of pleasure, with bright lights and music,
And mild winter mist.
Just look at the branches of white-coloured trees,
They seem to be magic, unreal dreams release.
Forestall your desire and it’ll be fulfilled,
Kind, secret ideas all will be revealed.
To live without television?
It is impossible, you know!
It gives of our time revision,
Of all events that are quick and slow.
The information comes to us
From everywhere, but, alas!
My favourite programmes have prime time
And that is why I’ve made this rhyme!
