INTRODUCTION
Success comes from education. This does not refer to school, but to putting knowledge into practice, which is actually wisdom and brings success.
Success is a ladder you cannot climb with your hands in your pockets.
(P. Bauet)
Goal: To find out if education affects success in life?
Hypothesis: By exploring this topic, we will be able to convince students that education plays an important role.
Objectives:
1.To explore what success is and what it gives us.
2.To find out why education is so important to us.
3.Create a survey for students and analyze the results.
MAIN PART.
1. What is success and what does it look like?
What is success in a person’s life?
Have you thought about what success means to you personally? What criteria or attributes can you use to determine what success is? Most people blindly strive for success without fully understanding what it means. Wanting to achieve success in life, many perceive it as a phenomenon that does not require explanation. And some use templates and imagine that: “Success in one’s life is always fame, universal recognition, love and wealth.”
True success is the complete harmony of its material and spiritual components.
Success is the ability to make your life what you want it to be. It is to achieve your goals and to derive pleasure and satisfaction from it.
Every one of us wants to be successful. It boosts self-esteem, gives meaning to your existence, helps you believe in yourself and gives a person enjoyment of himself and his activities.
But everyone puts a different meaning in this concept: someone considers success to be a good family man, someone to become a famous singer or an economist. But no matter what a person wants, the road to success is the same for everyone.
There is a certain algorithm of actions, actions that will lead to your success. First of all, you need to develop the following qualities: hard work, optimism, positive thinking, persistence and self-confidence.
In addition, you must not reason and think about such theses as “I can’t”, “I don’t want to”, “I can’t”, “I won’t make it”, “I must”. It is also necessary to believe and adore, to be in love with the cause, with the goal,-with everything you do. At any moment, any minute, any second, it is necessary to act, to start with even the smallest action, movement. As the proverb says: “Water does not flow under a rolling stone”, and it’s really true.
What can success look like?
1. In the acquisition of skills.
Skills are completely automated, instinct-like components of skills, which are implemented at the level of unconscious control. If an action is understood as a part of an activity that has a clearly defined conscious goal, then a skill can also be called an automated component of an action. Exercises are of great importance in the formation of all types of skills. Thanks to them, there is automation of skills, improvement of skills, activity as a whole. Exercises are necessary both at the stage of developing skills and skills, and in the process of preserving them. Without constant, systematic exercises skills and abilities are usually lost, lose their qualities.
2 .In personality.
Psychological success refers to a person’s personality: to become kinder, more industrious, to overcome a bad habit. This type of success is probably the most time-consuming, sometimes not possible, but it is also paramount, sometimes necessary for all other types of success.
3.Career.
The chain of events that makes up life, the sequence of professional occupations and other life roles, which together express a person’s commitment to act in accordance with his generalized model of self-development. A person builds his or her own career, taking into account the peculiarities of intra- and extra-organizational reality and, most importantly, his or her own goals, desires, and attitudes.
1.1 Basic stages of human education.
Every person goes through a long process of education throughout life, from birth to old age, first acquiring certain knowledge and skills, and then consolidating them and never stops developing and learning new things for themselves. Knowledge and education people receive is not only on the school bench, it is enough to pay attention to the phrase that has already become a winged phrase “the science of life” – one of the most sensible teachers I have ever encountered. And all the stages of human education look like this:
The rudiments of education – a person receives in infancy, when he learns everything, so to speak, from scratch. Learning the world around him, he absorbs everything, on which in the future will be built a more complex science;
School education – laying the foundations of education, generating a craving for knowledge, exciting his interest. In the process of school education, the child gets acquainted with other cultures, history, comprehends the true dimensions of the world and the accumulated knowledge in it;
Higher education is a continuation of school education, but in a slightly different framework: education takes a narrow profile, with a focus on the choice of future profession. At this stage, young people are preparing to meet adulthood;
Practical education is a job, it is practically the same as in high school, only instead of practical, people acquire practical knowledge and skills, which soon turn into experience;
Self-education is the process of improving the knowledge obtained before, using a variety of materials and sources, from books and the Internet, to science, which is presented by everyday situations.
1.2 Qualities that a successful person possesses.
Based on this, it is possible to identify several qualities that a successful person possesses
person.
1. Independence. In general, being independent means acting and behaving according to your own needs, perceptions, or assessments, rather than according to the demands of your environment or the opinions of others.
2. Confidence. A person makes deliberate decisions and is not afraid to make mistakes, because mistakes are always experience.
3. persistence.This is what helps a person to move towards the goal and not to retreat.
4. Creativity – everything that a person can imagine, that he can bring to life. All, the great achievements of mankind began with the imagination.
5. Awareness . Successful people know who they are, where they are going, and what they want from life. Every successful person knows his or her own worth, sets simple, clear goals and achieves them.
6. Purposefulness. This is a conscious and active orientation of a person towards a certain result of activity. Such a person knows exactly what he or she wants, where he or she is going, and what he or she is fighting for.
7. Positive thinking. If successful people were not optimistic, and were sure that “the glass is half empty,” then no amount of persistence, purposefulness, and hard work would lead them to success.
8. Interest in your business. To ensure your success on a consistent basis, you must have a passion for life, and for what you do.
2.THE OPPORTUNITIES THAT EDUCATION PROVIDES
Modern man cannot imagine his life without knowledge. Many strive to know more, to improve themselves. As you know, there are several levels of education: primary, incomplete secondary, complete secondary, secondary vocational, master’s, postgraduate, doctoral studies. Everyone has the right to choose what suits him, what he wants to achieve… But do we need education? Maybe we shouldn’t spend so much time and energy studying theory, as the modern young person has to sit through textbooks, until he/she finally gets a diploma of a specialist in one field or another.
1.New knowledge.
Of course, you can acquire new knowledge simply by reading the literature, but with a teacher to learn something is much easier, because you can help at any time. In addition, the first courses of almost all faculties are general educational and include such subjects as philosophy, history, psychology, sociology, etc. It never stopped anyone from developing their intellect, especially since today it is very important to be well-read and educated.
2.Work in your specialty.
Many of the professions you can get only after you study in high school. But besides this, you can get a higher education simply by looking into the future, the diploma will be useful and will provide you with a job, and consequently the means of livelihood. Therefore, if you have time and opportunity, it is better to enroll in higher education.
3. Prestige.
If you look through the job ads, you will notice a surprising thing: higher education is required and the bus driver, and the seller, and the window washer, and even an ordinary janitor. Today there is a common opinion that a good worker must be educated, and a person without higher education is worth neither a good job nor a decent salary. It is the prestige attached to a diploma that still causes thousands of people to want to enroll in higher education, although most of the students have no desire to study.
4.Acquiring social skills while studying.
A person learns to interact with the team, to negotiate with the teacher, to find a way out of difficult situations, even banal copying or finding an approach to the teacher when you do not know the subject or something did not learn – all this is
is considered “survival”. And it really can be very useful in later life and career path.
CONCLUSION
The role and importance of education in the life of an individual and the society in which he then enters is very great and should not be neglected. The process of education is multifaceted, sometimes difficult and thorny, but for their efforts, everyone receives an appropriate reward. From childhood to old age we continue to learn, often without realizing it. And knowledge is also important because once you have acquired it, you cannot lose it, unlike your position in society and moral values. Poorly educated citizens are one of the main problems of modern society. It is very important to strive for something in life, to set goals and achieve them, to use all opportunities and acquire new ones, now we have seen that education gives us these opportunities and it plays an important role in our lives.
In today’s society, education is the most important means of success and a symbol of one’s social position. Expanding the circle of highly educated people, improving the system of formal education have an impact on social mobility in society, making it more open and perfect.
Any sphere of activity, any social structure always needs educated, literate people and qualified specialists. It does not matter what sphere a person works in. If a person is not educated, what is the use of him. For example, how can you entrust your health to a doctor who has no medical education? Or what can a teacher, who knows nothing himself, teach his students?
Nowadays especially educated and literate people are needed in economics, politics and in any other field. Life itself dictates the conditions and creates the prerequisites for people to get a good education.
